Gather your media and request your estimate through our website.
Include this estimate as your packing slip when shipping or delivering your order.
Choose to drop off or ship your order to us in Stonington, CT. We can collect from your home, workplace or one of our partners if you are located in CT or RI.Â
STEP 2
CONVERSION
We will email you once we receive your order and verify the estimate.
From there, our team of expert technicians will process your order and get busy digitizing those irreplaceable memories.
Upon completion, you will be charged the remainder of your estimate and your media returned via the method you chose.
STEP 3
RELIVE & SHARE
 You will receive your media in a format you can view for years to come, to share with your friends and family!
We also return your original media for you to dispose of when you are satisfied.
If you would like to add onto your order with extra copies, a slideshow, video memoir or photo book we keep your files for 90-days.

Which media storage do you prefer?
We can upload your files to your chosen cloud storage platform, whether that is Google Drive, Drop Box or One Drive.
 Flash Drives and External Hard Drives can hold all of your digitized files. Easily duplicate, transfer and watch your media on your smart TV and computer.
CDs will work in any CD player or disc drive. We can customize the disc with a personalized title.Â

My wife and I have been having are 50-60 year old super 8’s scanned and placed on a USB Zip drive. They have come out fantastic. We would recommend them to anyone who is thinking of saving their various types of videos. Once our super 8’s are done, we intend on doing mini vhs and normal vhs tapes done.

I'm very happy with their work converting 5 VHS tapes as their customer service was very responsive in meeting all my particular needs as well as being very easy to communicate with. I'm sure my terrific experience would be just as good with the conversion of any other media. The cost is very reasonable and they handle your original media in a safe way so no worries about your memories getting lost, for example, in the mail. Also, they had a backup copy of the converted data ready to send me in an another file format for the asking. Overall outstanding!

I want to thank Robert and his team for the meticulous and loving work they do! I was so hesitant to hand over my precious home video VHS tapes to just anyone. After a lot of research, I knew I wanted to use Charter Oak and drove all the way from NYC to bring my tapes so they wouldn't have to go through the mail. Robert later told me that they have pick-ups in various places (it's not only me who doesn't want irreplaceable objects going through the postal service!) Robert obviously cares about what he does and the entire operation is very professional. I felt completely confident leaving over 20 tapes with them. In a few weeks, all the tapes were done, and a flash drive was mailed to me with the video files. Honestly, for the price, I can't believe the level of customer service I received. Robert responds quickly to emails and it's so clear how much care goes into every task. When I was watching the digitized videos, I found that in one spot, the sound didn't align with the video. Robert and his team automatically fixed it and sent me a new flash drive with the corrected file. This was the best gift I could have ever given my family, and it's a huge weight off knowing that I have gotten this done so that my family memories are preserved forever! I can't possibly recommend Charter Oak more. Thank you for all your work!
